SLASH, AS I LAY DYING, MICHAEL MONROE, THE DAMNED THINGS Confirmed For DOWNLOAD

April 12, 2010

According to Kerrang! magazine, SLASH, AS I LAY DYING, MICHAEL MONROE and supergroup THE DAMNED THINGS — which features members of FALL OUT BOY, ANTHRAX and EVERY TIME I DIE — are among the latest confirmed bands for this year's Download Festival, which is set to take place at Donington Park in Leicestershire, U.K. between June 11 and June 13.

"The Download Festival is in my homeland and is where my first group, GUNS N' ROSES, really broke onto the world stage," says Slash. "It's always a proud honor for me to be a part of this annual rock n' roll event. By the way, this will be the fourth group I will have appeared with at Donington. Isn't that some sort of record?"
